Pretoria East had no proper Durban curry. So we started cooking it.
4 Chilli Indian Takeaway was founded in 2011 to fill a gap: there was no authentic, traditional Durban-style curry, masala or Indian spice in Pretoria East. We set out to cook it properly, with carefully roasted masalas and spices, fresh rotis, a variety of samoosas and, of course, the bunny chows.
Everything at 418 Jacqueline Drive is made to order. That takes a little longer, but it means every dish reaches you fresh. Our samoosas are fried and served immediately. We also keep a steady stock of premium masalas, authentic spices and quality frozen foods, so the full range is always on the shelf.
- No heat lamps. Nothing pre-plated, nothing reheated.
- No deliveries. WhatsApp or call ahead, then collect.
- No shortcuts on vegan. Bean, dhall and veg curries on their own base.
